As the time for my solo exhibition drew nearer, I found that I worked faster and simplified more. This was the beginning of my Fynbos Exuberance series. I found that I loved the simplified shapes and playful colours that happen when I painted more quickly.
I found these clusters of Helichrysums on one of my hikes on Table Mountain. Just had to paint them!!
