Gelli-plate monoprinting is a wonderfully enjoyable and accessible art form that both experienced artists and first-time creatives can enjoy together. Whether this is your first workshop or your tenth, you’re sure to enjoy a creative, inspiring, and relaxing morning.
We begin the day with a cup of coffee or tea before I introduce the monoprinting process with a step-by-step demonstration. From there, you’ll have plenty of time to experiment with vibrant printing inks, colours, textures, stencils, botanical materials, and a variety of interesting objects to create your own unique prints.

Please bring a few textured items for printing, such as soft plants and flowers, leaves, lace, textured fabric, feathers, paper cuttings, or anything else that might create interesting textures or shapes. We will share materials, so you don’t need to bring much. Also bring an apron.
Coffee and tea are included.
I will provide plenty of paper for everyone. However, if you’d like to experiment, you’re welcome to bring your own papers for special prints – for example:
The greater the variety, the more exciting the results!
