This is a large, abstract oil painting of some fynbos plants that I love: Kooigoed (Helichrysums) en Wilde Kamiele (Wild Chamomile). I started off with these plants in mind, but soon moved away from the shapes and colours to let the artwork take on a life of it’s own. I am very happy with the end result.
