As the time for my solo exhibition drew nearer, I found that I worked faster and simplified more. This was the beginning of my Fynbos Exuberance series. I found that I loved the simplified shapes and playful colours that happen when I painted more quickly.
These Brunias surprised me when they flowered. These bright white tufts burst open from the cones. Lovely!
